On the heels of another “Adairsville Creeper” sighting on Monday, the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office held a community meeting at Adairsville last night. The fourth sighting occurred when two children reported they saw a man wearing all black near the power lines along Iron Mountain Road. The BCSO wanted to hear the concerns the residents were having about the masked man dubbed “The Creeper,” who has been prowling the neighborhoods. One concerned grandmother, Kay Bridges, spoke about the Creeper.

Approximately 60 people were present at the meeting. The BCSO wanted to encourage the residents to organize Neighborhood Watch Programs in the various communities. Here is Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap:

Street signs will be posted in the communities, no later than next Monday, announcing the organization of the Neighborhood watch programs. Empty houses and buildings have been searched for evidence of any unusual habitation. Residents were told to call 911 if the “Creeper” appears again.
