The Adairsville Tigers (3-6) hosted and defeated the Haralson County Rebels (2-7) by a score of 42-10.

After each team punted on the opening possession Haralson county took a 3-0 lead on a 26-yard field goal.

Adairsville tried to respond with a field goal of their own but a 31-yard attempt and Haralson County held their 3-0 lead into the second quarter.

Adairsville took control of the game in the final 5 minutes of the first half starting with a Daylon Bailey scoop and score for a 70-yard touchdown to put the Tigers on top 7-3

Adairsville quarterback Roger Redd hit Bryce Burgess in the endzone to make the score 14-3 with 1:10 left in the first half.

Nic Jackson helped the Tigers with an interception to give his offense the ball on the Haralson County45 yard line. Roger Redd would do the rest, finding Ethan Belcher on a 39-yard touchdown pass making it 21-3 Tigers just before the halftime horn.

Two Travon Branch receiving touchdowns to open the second half for Adairsville gave the Tigers a 35-3 with 6:00 left in the 3rd quarter.

Adairsville and Haralson County scored a pair of touchdowns down the stretch. The Tigers came out on top 42-10.

Next week the Adairsville Tigers (3-6) will host the North Murray Mountaineers (2-7) to determine which of those two teams will make it into the AAA playoffs.
