A box truck was involved in an accident on I-75 southbound near exit 283 in Emerson on Wednesday afternoon, scattering rolls of carpet across the Interstate.
Bartow County EMS tended to one male patient with numerous trauma injures. He was taken to Kennestone Hospital.
Traffic southbound and northbound was affected.
