Good morning! It’s humpday. We’ve made it halfway through the week and now we cruise downhill toward the weekend. Time for a Wednesday edition of Bartow’s Morning News.
We have three guest segments today, beginning at 7:40AM, when Marina Robertson, Executive Director of the Pettit Preserve, joins us to discuss Georgia on My Mind. Immediately following, at 7:50AM, Juvenile Judge Velma Tilley will be in studio to talk about an initiative from the Bartow Collaborative about child abuse and neglect in Bartow County.
Then in hour three, Larry Tate, the drummer for Shakin Grace, will call in for an interview about their concert coming up this Saturday at the Grand Theatre — a fund-raiser for the Bartow County chaper of 4-H. We will play some trivia, as well, for a chance to win a pair of tickets to see Shakin Grace. We will also give away a family pack of four tickets to Pioneer Days Festival at Sam Smith Park over the Labor Day weekend.
Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between. It’s all here on your award-winning AM 1450 WBHF.
