Guess what day it is?
It’s hump day and time for a Wednesday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, broadcasting the very best in local news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.
We have two guest segments today in our second hour. At 7:40AM, we’ll be joined by Jessica Mitchum, the Executive Director of the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter about tomorrow’s annual radiothon fund-raiser. This is the last major fund-raiser for the shelter in 2013. We’ll be broadcasting live from the shelter from 7AM until 10AM. You can make donations by cvoming by the shelter, coming by WBHF, or calling into the radio at 770-386-1450. There is even a matching grant available from an anonymous donor.
The, at 7:50AM, Brenda Morehouse, President of the United Way of Bartow County will be here to talk about sign-ups for the annual Turkey Trot 5K run at the Etowah Riverwalk behind the Clash soccer fields.
Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between. It’s all here on your award-winning AM 1450 WBHF.
