Bartow deputies arrest a fugitive wanted by two different law enforcement agencies. He was arrested Wednesday night after a woman he was staying with at a motel called the cops on him.
Bartow County Sheriff’s Department reports state Dusty Leon Cade, age 26, was taken into custody about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Johnson’s motel just off I-75 in Cartersville.
Police allege a female truck driver called police to make sure Cade wasn’t a fugitive. She said Cade had asked to travel with her to Florida. Once police were notified they ran his name through the database and discovered he was wanted on a warrant by the Calhoun Police Department and on a separate warrant in Bartow County.
Cade is charged with a probation violation.
