Forty-seven-year-old, Jeffery Ryan Kelly, appeared before Judge Rosemary Green earlier this week and waived extradition to Madison, Arkansas.  Kelly of Huntsville, Arkansas was jailed in Bartow on December 13th, 2021, charged with two counts of felony probation violation.

He pled guilty to failure to appear charges in 2020.  In 2017, he pleaded guilty to obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers, terroristic threats, and family violence charges.

 

According to reports from Madison County, Arkansas, Kelly is charged with killing two people on November 30th, 2021.  Officials with the Madison County Sheriff’s say someone called 911 reporting two deceased people were found at a residence at 718 Huntsville, Arkansas.  The bodies of a 46-year-old white male and a white female exhibited severe decomposition.  The woman was shot in the head and the abdomen, the man was shot twice in the chest.

 

A witness told investigators, the suspect left her residence at midnight on November 30th, 2021.  He returned and said he had a mess to clean up.  She said Kelly reported going to the victim’s cabin and shooting both people in the chest.  The witness said the woman was still alive as Kelly was trying to get information from her.  Kelly reportedly said he shot the woman to put her out of her misery.
