An accident occurred on highway 41 just North of Gaston Westbrooks in Emerson Sunday.  The accident resulted in the vehicle overturning numerous times. BCEMS had 3 units respond due to the number of patients. The crews found that 2 patients had been ejected from the vehicle. The first, a 13 year old male was found to have a closed head injury and was transported by BCEMS to Kennestone hospital. The second patient was an adult female that was conscious and alert but was asking repetitive questions. The patient was also transported to Kennestone Hospital. BCEMS assessed 5 additional patients  with minor injuries from small cuts to abrasions. All patients were transported to Kennestone Hospital.
