A local businessman charged with shooting another man at point-blank range was found not guilty on all criminal charges in Bartow Superior Court Wednesday afternoon. In the State of Georgia versus Mark Harris, the jury acquitted him on three counts of aggravated assault and one count of a weapon violation. While testifying in his defense, Harris stated that Tony Collum hit him in the head and started beating his son. That’s when Harris said he went to his truck, took out his legally owned .32 caliber pistol, and shot Collum twice at point-blank range.
