Daily Press Release:
9/27/2026 – At approximately 4:22 p.m., Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services
were dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire located at 6503 Allatoona
Gateway SE in Acworth. Upon arrival with the Bartow County Sheriff Office,
firefighters found a smoldering fire located in the area of the playground.
Crews initiated fire suppression efforts and extinguished the smoldering fire. Fire
investigators were requested to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the
fire. At this time, the fire remains under investigation.
