The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for Thursday morning from 5:00 until 10:00. Expect wind chills to range from near zero to five below zero in portions of north and west central Georgia.
The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
