The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office released a report today in reference to an assault which allegedly took place on the evening of November 26th.
A deputy was told that an unknown person approached a man outside his vehicle at Sparkles Car Wash on Evergreen Trail in Cartersville between 7:00 and 7:30 and demanded money. When the man told the stranger he didn’t have any, the stranger stabbed the man once in the abdomen.
The victim was treated at Cartersville Medical Center and released. The BCSO is still working with property owners in the area to secure any possible evidence of the incident that may have been preserved through video surveillance.
