37-year-old Shamus Campbell of Rome forced open the door to a residence on Paige Street in Cartersville on Sunday night and allegedly pinned his ex-girlfriend against the wall with the door, struck her several times in the head with his fist, stole an Atlanta Falcons jersey she was wearing with a purse, and fled the scene in a Chevy Impala.

Campbell admitted to a deputy over the phone that he broke the door, but that the victim owed him money. He refused to return to the scene.

With the victim not having any visible injuries, the BCSO has filed warrants for simple battery, burglary, and robbery by sudden snatching.
