The Adairsville Tigers (0-3) continued their 2016 woes as they fell to Model by a score of 51-21 Friday night.

Adairsville fumbled the ball on consecutive drives to start off the game and found itself in a 14-0 hole. Model quarterback Kyler Eldridge scored three times in the first half, including an interception return, and helped Model to a 30-14 lead at halftime.

Model would go on to score three more touchdowns in the second half, while Adairsville would only find the endzone once more.

The early season struggles for Adairsville can be attributed to 16 new starters, which results in some growing pains. The Tigers will open up their region schedule next week when they travel to Ringgold for a 7:30 kickoff.
