According to reports, 23 year old Ronald Bran of Norcross was a passenger in the vehicle. Twenty three year old Oscar Proenza of Lawrenceville is listed as the driver. The accident occurred Wednesday around 3:30, a white Ford Super Duty truck was traveling east on U.S. 411 when the driver failed to maintain his lane near Hardin Bridge Road. The truck left the right side of the roadway, crossed a ditch, and struck a tree.
Bartow County EMS arrived to find Bran dead at the scene. Proenza was transported via Life Force helicopter to Cartersville Medical Center due to him going into cardiac arrest while in flight to a trauma center. He was later pronounced dead.
