According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, on Tuesday night between 1030PM and 1130PM, 22 year old Samantha Nicole Barrett of Marietta left a Commanche Drive in Acworth home stealing a 2003 Ford Taurus with an 8 month old child inside. The vehicle is gray in color and should display Georgia license PAT8423. The 8 month old is a boy and was last seen wearing a red Adidas shirt and a diaper and he was strapped into a car seat in the back of the car. Barrett has no relation to the child or the mother and was only an aquiantence of the mother. Barrett has connections in Bartow and Cobb counties and her location is unknown. Anyone who sees this vehicle, child, or Barrett is urged to immediately call 9-1-1.
More information will be released as it becomes available. Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is working with numerous other local, state and federal agencies in this case.
