Brandy Ann Boyd and Austin Levi Payne were sentenced to life without parole by Judge Carey Nelson Tuesday. Both were charged with murder in January 2014 following the death of Boyd’s infant daughter Journey Cowart. A local jury convicted the pair of felony murder, cruelty to children, and aggravated battery.
