Fire and rescue crews responded to a fire at Chemical Products just after 9 Wednesday morning. Technical Director, Jeff Cook says an electrical spark ignited a product used for the production of paper. Employees attempted to extinguish the blaze but they fled the building due to heavy smoke. Cook says there were no injuries and no other buildings or people were in danger due to the fire.
