The Cartersville – Bartow County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Nancy Haight has agreed to serve as Interim President and CEO beginning July 1. Nancy moved to Cartersville in 1986 as a part of her family’s textile printing business, A.S. Haight & Co. until it’s closing in 2001. She served on the Chamber Board of Directors from 1989-1995 including serving as Chair in 1993. Nancy is retiring from the State Department of Education where she has been since 2009. She will serve as President and CEO throughout the search process as the current Board of Directors searches for a permanent replacement for Joe Harris who resigned in May.
