We have more information on a deadly crash that occurred Saturday morning near Highway 61. According to Georgia State Patrol Reports, just before 9:00 a.m., 34-year-old Russell Carr was backing out of his driveway onto Rolling Hills Drive. A witness saw Carr’s motorcycle facing south but did not witness the impact of the two vehicles involved in the crash. She did see the driver of the other vehicle and several other people move Carr and his vehicle off the road and leave the scene. They left traveling south on Rolling Hills Drive. The area of impact has not been determined. Carr was transported to Kennestone Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The investigation is ongoing
