According to Georgia State Patrol reports, the crash occurred on Jones Mill Road, Saturday, May 1, at 5:17 p.m. Thirty-three-year-old, Jamie Boilard Jr. died in the crash. According to reports, Boilard was traveling too fast for conditions. He lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve. The motorcycle overturned and crossed the double yellow line entering the southbound lanes of travel. Both Boilard and the motorcycle were then struck by a white passenger car traveling south at the time. Boilard was pronounced deceased on the scene.
