One of Bartow’s newest companies, Loloi, Inc., broke ground this morning in a small, private ceremony at 840 Cassville White Road, Cartersville, GA.  In late spring, the Georgia Department of Economic Development announced the company’s decision to create 198 new jobs on April 12th (http://www.georgia.org/newsroom/press-releases/loloi-inc-to-create-more-than-190-jobs-in-bartow-county/).

From the state’s April press release, “Loloi will offer expanded home furnishing categories in decorative pillows and throws. The Bartow County facility will sit on approximately 59 acres, and is around 647,000 square feet.  ‘Loloi is thrilled to invest in a brand-new distribution facility based in Georgia,’ said Amir Loloi, our Founder and President of Loloi Inc. ‘This infrastructural investment will help us better serve our customers, and meet the growing demand for our product. The Bartow County workforce and logistics infrastructure are an ideal match for our business.’”

At the event Amir Loloi thanked everyone for their hard work and continued diligence moving forward.  Cyrus Loloi, Principal for the company, echoed the sentiment and added his own comments of appreciation and positive outlook.  Officials from Alston Construction, Ware Malcomb, Panattoni Development, were among those on hand.

The Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development would like to publicly thank Bartow County Commissioner Steve Taylor and his staff, the Development Authority of Bartow County, Bartow County Community Development officials, utility providers and economic development partners for support on this project and many others.  The state team was led by Hank Evans, with support from Rebecca Jordan with the Metro Atlanta Chamber of  Commerce.
