The baseball game between Cass and Adairsville yesterday was postponed. No makeup date has been announced, but the two teams are still scheduled to play on Friday.
Today in baseball, Excel’s varsity team will play Mount Paran at 4:30, weather permitting.
In soccer, four local teams are in action with all times at 5:30. Adairsville will travel to Armuchee, Cass will travel to Northwest Whitfield and Woodland will welcome Cartersville.
Tomorrow in baseball, Cartersville will welcome Lambert and Woodland will welcome Kennesaw Mountain. Both games are scheduled to start at 5:30. The Georgia Highlands Baseball team returns to Lakepoint tomorrow, when it hosts Southern Union at 3:00 for a doubleheader.
On the soccer slate for Wednesday, Cass will welcome Temple at 7:30.
Also at 7:30 tomorrow, the Georgia Highlands basketball team will take on Handle It Prep at home. The Chargers are 27-1 on the season.
