A Bartow County resident charged with numerous counts of child molestation was released on bond this year. He is now back in jail, charged with more crimes against children. According to Bartow County Sheriff’s Office arrest reports, 71-year-old Robert Edward Dillen was jailed Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 10:37 a.m. He is charged with two misdemeanor counts of sexual exploitation of children. According to the jail docket, these offenses allegedly occurred on February 21, 2023.
Dillen was arrested in August 2022 and charged with rape, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and child molestation; eleven counts total, all felonies. A motion for bond reduction was granted earlier this year, and Dillen was released on bond. We have reached out to authorities for more information. Tune to WBHF for more details on these new charges.
