Two high school football teams from Bartow County experienced some blackouts during their games on Friday evening. The Adairsville Tigers and Cass Colonels both experienced delays on the road.

The Colonels were on the road facing the Creekview Grizzlies and were trailing 14-0 when the lights in the stadium went out around 8:02 PM. At 9:18, power was restored.

The Tigers were on the road against the Sonoraville Phoenix and were tied up at 15 at the half. The lights went out in the stadium in the middle of halftime around 9:15. North Georgia Electric reported estimated down time 45 minutes to an hour delay, but play had not resumed by 10:15 Friday evening. A tractor trailer knocked down a power poll near the stadium.
