A few dayes after David Perdue visited Cartersville, another Georgia GOP Senate candidate visited Bartow County. Jack Kingston, who currently sits just behind Perdue in the latest polls by FOX, was at the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce on Friday.
Kingston says he has been in Bartow County so often, because many of his friends reside here and they would liike to win the county. Kingston feels that the three biggest items that need to be addressed include: Building a strong national defense, havis fiscal responsibility and the need to have private sector jobs. Kingston cites his endorsements by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Sean Hannity as some of his biggest backers in this election.
Kingston, Perdue, Paul Broun, Art Gardner, Phil Gingrey, Derrick E. Grayson and Karen Handel are running in the primary.
The election will be Tuesday, and the winner will face-off against Michelle Nunn on November 4th.
