The Georgia Highlands College Cartersville campus will be holding a 10-year celebration event on August 19th. GHC’s Cartersville branch began in 1995 on Gilmer Street. Construction began on a new campus in 2002 on Route 20, just west of I-75, and opened for classes in 2005.

The event will start with a ribbon cutting for the campus’ new College and Career Center at 11AM. The 10-year celebration will continue at 11:30AM with a cake cutting, food, drinks, and several related activities.
