ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Art Carpet recruit about 20   workers for its new distribution center in Chatsworth. The company manufactures machine woven rugs.

The recruitment will be held Thursday, Feb. 11, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Murray County Parks and Recreation Center located at 651 Hyden Tyler Road in Chatsworth.

The company will be hiring warehouse workers and customer service associates, along with supervisors.

GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants in the screening process. Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress business casual to improve their opportunities for jobs.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. Due to job duties, they must also be able to read, write and speak English. Those who have at least three years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center are encouraged to apply for the supervisory positions.
