The Cartersville Police Department has blocked off the area of Felton Road and Tennessee Street to locate a suspect, who attempted robbery at the Rite Aid at 954 Joe Frank Harris Parkway. The suspect, 38-year-old Jaimey Shane Swafford of Canton was apprehended at the scene. WBHF spoke to Cartersville Chief of Police Frank McCann about the incident. A bag that belonged to the suspected was checked for potentially hazardous material, but consisted, instead, of pills that the suspect took.
