A Cedartown woman is arrested in Bartow County charged with vehicular homicide. According to Bartow County Sheriff’s Office reports, 73-year-old Evelyn D. Nowell caused the accident that occurred early Monday morning. She is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, first-degree homicide by vehicle and improper stopping in roadway. According to reports, Nowell stopped her vehicle in the roadway causing another vehicle to stop behind her. The vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer, one person died in the crash and another is in the hospital.
