This fall I will once again be asking the citizens of Cartersville for your vote as I seek to serve another term as Mayor. It has been a tremendous honor to serve in that capacity, and there is not a single day that I am not grateful for the opportunity to help keep our community a great place to live, work, play and learn. I appreciate the trust that people have given me to work with the city council and our talented staff to make decisions that are in the best interest of our community. As our community continues to grow, it is important to preserve the strong sense of community and hometown feel that makes Cartersville so special I appreciate my campaign manager Howard Smith and my campaign treasurer Danny Gilreath for their continued support and time that they have given me since 2008, and I am thrilled to add campaign treasurer Fritz Dent to our team. He is a longtime trusted friend, and I am honored to have him serve on the committee. I am asking for your consideration and support.
