Several Bartow County players took part in Signing Day and we will look at one player each day for the next week to talk about the signing day process. Up first, we’ll talk to Cartersville senior receiver Terrius Callahan, who talked about why this day was the most important of his life.

“This is probably one of the most important days of my life because it carries on my career and my education,” the Austin Peay signee stated.

“I chose Austin Peay because all of the other schools turned down on me.” Callahan said that teammate Tyler Reed’s commitment also was a deciding factor.

Callahan said that he had other schools recruit him. “Other schools offered me stuff. Cincinnati was the first one, but then they turned (it) down. Then Tennessee Tech and then Austin Peay.”

The next interview will be Reed, Callahan’s teammate, who is also going to Austin Peay.
