We now know more about a drowning that occurred on Lake Allatoona Sunday.  Monday morning, rescue officials located the body of 36-year-old Charles Feaster of New Jersey.  At approximately 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21st, Game Wardens responded to a drowning call on Allatoona Lake near the Webster Ferry Landing. According to the Department of Natural Resources, witnesses said a 36-year-old male fell from a pontoon boat and did not resurface. The search began immediately but was suspended for the night due to a severe thunderstorm storm warning in the area and darkness. The search resumed at 7:00 a.m. Monday. The Game Wardens located the victim just before 10:30 using sector scan sonar. The Bartow County Dive Team recovered the body at 10:58 am.
