One home received extensive damage, while another was destroyed by fire. According to a press release from Bartow Fire and Emergency Services, crews were called out just before 10 Sunday morning for a fire at 6902 Pawnee Trail, Acworth. Bartow Fire and Emergency Service crews arrived on scene to find a one-story wood frame structure with smoke showing. Once crews were able to extinguish the fire, a fire investigator was called to the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The home received extensive damage. There were no injuries reported.

 

Crews were back at it Monday morning.  Just before 9 a.m., Firefighters were dispatched to 17 Sutton Trail Cartersville to a report of a residential structure fire. The caller advised that the house was on fire. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find a double-wide mobile home and vehicle fully involved. Once crews were able to extinguish the fire, a fire investigator was called to the scene. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. The home and vehicle were a total loss. There were no injuries reported.
