On Monday, January 26, 2015, Bartow County Campus Police Chief Dan Knowles reported an incident of an inappropriate relationship between Bartow County school teacher/ Offender/ Chad Wade Clift and a seventeen year old student. This incident was reported to the Bartow County Board of Education and Clift resigned from his teaching position.
The investigation determined the inappropriate relationship occurred off campus. The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Chad Wade Clift, forty one years of age, on the charge of Sexual Assault. Clift has been released on a twenty five thousand dollar ($25,000.00) special condition bond.
