According to reports from Bartow Fire and Emergency Services,
8/25/2023 – At approximately 11:56 p.m., Bartow County Fire & Emergency
Services were dispatched to 937 Euharlee Road S.W. Cartersville to a report of a
residential structure fire. The caller said a fire was in one of the
bedrooms, and everyone was out. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find a mobile
home with light smoke showing. Crews were able to extinguish the fire. The cause of
the fire was deemed accidental. The house received minor damage, with no injuries
reported.
8/27/2023 – At approximately 11:58 a.m. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services
were dispatched to 89 Spruce Lane S.E. Cartersville to a report of a residential
structure fire. The caller advised that a house was on fire and that smoke and
flames could be seen through the trees. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find an RV,
dump truck, and mobile home with heavy smoke and flames showing. After crews
extinguished the fire, a fire investigator was called. The cause
of the fire is still under investigation. The RV and mobile home were a total loss, with
no injuries reported.
