The Cartersville School system announced that this Thursday July 20th they will be at the grand reopening of Bojangles to support the backpack buddies’ program.
The grand reopening event will be taking place at the Bojangles at 459 East Main Street from noon to 6 p.m. The announcement states that during the grand reopening event the school system will not only be providing a memorable experience but will also be offering an opportunity to support the backpack buddies program.
The program aims to combat childhood hunger by providing nutritious meals to students in need during weekends and school breaks. You can participate in this event in three different ways. The first is bringing non-perishable food items. These include Ramen Noodles, Fruit Snacks, or pop tarts.
In addition to that during the event there will be a number of giveaways including a handful of gift cards to Bojangles for 100 dollars. There will also be face painting, balloon twisting, a live DJ, interactive games like cornhole, complementary Bojangles merchandise, and free samples of the menu. If you contribute to the food drive, you will also receive an exclusive discount to Bojangles.
Lastly you can spread the word to other community members to spread awareness of the event and the backpack buddies’ program.
