Around 8:00 a.m. this morning, a Dodge Avenger turned into the path of a Honda Accord while attempting to make a left turn onto Old Alabama Rd. from Highway 61.  The Honda struck the Dodge.  After impact, the Dodge rotated and struck a school bus that was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Old Alabama and Highway 61.

 The driver of the Dodge, Kristen Crymes, 17, from Euharlee was cited for failing to yield while turning left. Her teenaged passenger was injured and transported to Floyd Medical Center.

 The driver of the Honda, Jeffery Mullins, age 34, from Dallas was injured and transported to Cartersville Medical Center.

No children or injuries on the bus.
