According to a press release, the city of Adairsville announces the resignation of Mayor, Evan T. King effective March 6, 2014. King told city officials that he resigned for personal reasons.
The city of Adairsville will conduct a special election for the remainder of his term (term expires December 31, 2016). The city’s attorney has more information about qualifying for the special election.
