The Adairsville Tigers (2-4, 0-1) had their two-game win streak snapped on Friday night as they lost to the Calhoun Yellow Jackets (6-2, 2-0) by a score of 29-3 on Friday night.

The Adairsville Tigers fell behind early as Baylon Spector scored on a 59-yard touchdown run with 10:48 left in the first quarter. Calhoun would tack on a 42-yard field and another Spector touchdown run to give the Yellow Jackets an early 16-0 lead. Adairsville did get on the scoreboard as Josh Honea connected on a 47-yard field goal to bring the score to 16-3. Calhoun would tack on another score with a 30-yard touchdown pass at the end of the first half to take a 22-3 lead into the half.

Calhoun would tack on seven more after Zach Fuller scored on a 14-yard run in the third quarter.

Adairsville will host Sonoraville (5-2, 2-0), a team that beat Cass earlier this season, next Friday at 7:30.
