A White, Georgia resident was fatally injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday.  Fifty three year old Gena L. Franklin died in an accident that occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m.  A 1993 Ford Ranger was stopped at a stop sign eastbound on Cass White Road at the intersection with Highway 411.  A 2005 Harley Davidson was traveling south on the highway.   According to GSP report, the driver of the Ranger, Kayla B. Walker, age 18 of Cartersville, stated she saw the motorcycle approaching, but thought it had its right blinker on and that it was turning right toward Cass White Road.  The Ranger then entered the intersection to attempt a left turn toward highway 411 northbound.  The motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the Ranger with its front.

The driver of the motorcycle, Gena L. Franklin, age 53 from White, was fatally injured.  Charges are pending upon the completion of this investigation.
