It’s time for a Tuesday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, broadcasting the very best in local news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.

homechristmas We have two guest segments today.  At 7:40AM, we hope to be joined by Stacey Bern, the director of the upcoming Christmas Show, “I’ll be Home for Christmas,” set to open at the Legion Theatre on Friday, December 6 for a two weekend run. We will also talk about how one of the events of the show takes place on the day of the attack on Pearl Harbor — December 7, 1941. The show will also have a performance on the anniversary of that attack and so they will be offering veterans and current active military a discount to that performance.

ToysForTotsCarPictureThen, at 7:50AM, we’ll be joined by Richard Goodson, with the Bartow County chapter of the Marines’ Toys for Tots. He’ll catch us up on where that 2013 Dodge Dart they are raffling will next be seen and we will find out how to buy those raffle tickets. We will also talk about how to donate toys and where collections will be setup. Goodson also suggests liking their dedicated Facebook page to stay on top of all of the scheduled activities of the Toys for Tots program here in Bartow County.
