The Chargers men’s basketball team opened the season with a 110-89 road win over the Raiders of Roane State.  The Chargers started the season with the No. 2 NJCAA National ranking. The Raiders fought hard throughout the first half with the Chargers leading only 53-46 at the break. The second half was all GHC, as the depth of the Chargers bench started to show its strength. Leading the way for the Chargers were Kyvon Davenport with 25 points, Ty Cockfield with 21, and Tylik Evans with 17.

The Chargers will be at home on Friday and Saturday as they host the Hardee’s Classic vs Alabama Prep on Friday at 7:30pm and SFG on Saturday at 3:00pm.
