According to a press release from Chief Thomas Culpepper of the Cartersville Police Department, an arrest has been made regarding recent entering auto incidents in the Wellington Subdivision.
Investigators with the Police Department arrested Rufus Travise Talmadge, age 17 of Cartersville, for two counts of entering autos, for thefts that occurred overnight during the period of February 8-9, 2015 in the area of the Wellington Subdivision near Dellinger Park. Investigators suspect that additional thefts in this area may have gone unreported. Residents in this area who may have been victimized are urged to contact the Cartersville Police Department as soon as possible and file a report.
