Cartersville, Georgia. June 16, 2014 – The Bartow Amphitheater Summer Concert Series gets underway Saturday, June 21, at the Clarence Brown Conference Center in Cartersville.  Indie Rock duo Little Known Letter will entertain under the stars from 7-10 PM.  Admission is free.

College classmates Clay Shiflett and Todd Burkhalter joined forces to form Little Known Letter, following diverse inspiration from Blink 182, Twenty One Pilots, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elton John.  These broad musical interests have fueled a unique blend of creative songwriting and musical skill.  The result is a modern pop rock sound combined with classic rock and soulful riffs.

Vocalist Shiflett says Saturday’s concert will be “a high energy show with a wide range of music.  We play many different musical styles, as well as fun, energetic original material. We are bringing a couple of great guys with us.  Kerry Harrell will be playing drums, and Jordan Kendrick will be with us on lead guitar.  We are very excited about this opportunity and are looking forward to rocking out.”

Little Known Letter has been welcomed by audiences across North Georgia.  Previously the group was a finalist in the KCBS/KOA Kampground Battle of the Bands.

The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Coosa Valley Credit Union, Nida Financial Group, and Wynn Buick GMC.  Robert Smyth, AVP Marketing & Business Development for Coosa Valley Credit Union eagerly committed to sharing this event with the Bartow County community.  “Coosa Valley Credit Union is happy to support good, solid family events that are first quality and beneficial.  The Clarence Brown Conference Center is a wonderful facility, proven by both large and small scale events.  The Summer Concert Series showcases the center’s versatility with both indoor and outdoor venue spaces,” shared Smyth.
