Premature birth is the leading cause of death during the first month of life. The Bartow County March of Dimes will hold its 2015 March for Babies tonight at Dellinger Park. Proceeds will help improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
This year’s “March for Babies” will feature 2 year old Kaiya Chastain, 2015 Bartow County Ambassador, an inflatable for children, clown, face painting, children’s activities, team T-Shirt contest, hoola hoop contest, balloon release ceremony, DJ, music, food and the walk. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the walk begins at 6 p.m.
