Bartow County EMS responded to I-75 Southbound on the Allatoona Lake Bridge for an accident involving two 45-year-old motorcycles on Sunday evening. EMS had two units respond to the accident which left Keshia Jackson of Jonesboro and Jamie Lannom of Decatur injured. Upon arrival, EMS found both patients lying on the ground conscious and alert. One was complaining of back pain and difficulty breathing. The second patient had a fracture to the lower right leg and possible fracture to the upper right leg. EMS transported both to Kennestone Hospital for treatment
Georgia State Patrol worked the investigation and stated that both motorcyclists swerved to avoid another vehicle that came into their lanes, which caused them to lose control of the vehicles and overturn. There were no charges in the investigation.
