Press Release

25, 2017 – The City of Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department has partnered with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to repair the oxygen deficiency in the Dellinger Park lake. The lake has since been cleaned up and restored. We appreciate your patience while we corrected this problem. Predatory fish will be added to the lake to control the fish population, along with additional fishing day events. The City asks that the public not feed the fish, ducks and geese; necessary signage will be added making this clear. We also ask that additional ducks and geese not be brought to the lake. The Parks and Recreation Office can be reached at 770-387-5626 if you have any questions.
