The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is working on the case involving the discovery of a body found on I-75 in Bartow County Wednesday morning. According to County Coroner, Joel Guyton, the deceased male was found on the northbound side of the highway near mile marker 282 between the Allatoona Lake Bridge and the Emerson exit.
According to Guyton, the body received trauma and it appears have been struck a vehicle. The victim is described as a white male, however his identity remains unknown. Guyton says the body was too traumatized for identification. He has been transported to the GBI crime lab for identification and cause of death.
