Brittany Rheana Ware

At approximately 11:15 Sunday Morning, January 27, a Georgia State Patrol trooper attempted to stop a white Pontiac G6 with a Florida temporary tag for a window tint violation. The stop was initiated on I-75 northbound at mile marker 284 (just south of the Red Top Mountain Road exit).

The vehicle failed to stop and began fleeing at speeds over 100 mph. The driver drove in a reckless manner on the left shoulder and the right shoulder, nearly causing several crashes.

At mile marker 295 (just south of the Cassville White Road exit), the trooper utilized the PIT maneuver to end the pursuit. The PIT was successful and the pursuit was ended. The driver was arrested with no further incident.

The vehicle was occupied by only the driver, Brittany Rheana Ware. She is a 31-year-old female from Rossville. She had three warrants from three different agencies (related to drug trafficking charges).

She was charged with felony fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession and use of drug related objects, and 14 different traffic-related charges. She was booked into the Bartow County Jail and her bond amount is $13,050.
